Lessons are structured to help students improve skills and learn new songs. In a typical month we work on a monthly worksheet, two songs, and a collection of guitar riffs in addition to ongoing projects. Students can suggest songs to work on and come in with their own individual projects as well. All levels are welcome to take lessons. I provide materials for students on a weekly basis; song sheets, worksheets and tab sheets.
I generally provide a new practice sheet each week. One worksheet, one tab sheet, and two song sheets per month. Songs are tabs are most often student request. In lessons we also have the opportunity to learn songs spontaneously provided that the song can be quickly transcribed. Students are also encouraged to bring a standard method book and any outside materials they wish to work on.
